A winter weather advisory is now in place through midnight for areas north and east of Pittsburgh for slick travel conditions, so be extra cautious through late evening. The precipitation will end through the evening and temperatures will stay steady in the lower to mid-30s overnight before much warmer air arrives Monday sending highs soaring into the 50s by late afternoon under cloudy skies.

A few rain showers swing through Monday evening, then we stay dry and a bit cooler in the 40s on Tuesday. More snow to rain appears likely late Wednesday into Thursday as another system approaches and temperatures continue to fight between winter and spring-like conditions.

Saturday could bring yet another round of rain/snow showers with temperatures hovering in the 40s, which is just a bit warmer than average for early February.
