Light Rail Service Delayed After Man Falls On Tracks At Wood Street

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Police are investigating an altercation that led to an elderly man ending up on the tracks of the Wood Street Station, according to Port Authority.

The incident happened around 9:00 p.m.

The man was not injured, but in the interest of caution, Port Authority stopped all trains for about 15 minutes.

He was transported to Mercy Hospital for evaluation and rail service has since resumed.
