Lawyer Files New Appeal For Franklin Regional High School Attacker Alex Hribal

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Alex Hribal, the student who attacked nearly two dozen of his classmates at Franklin Regional High School in 2014 has filed a new appeal.

Hribal is serving a 60-year sentence for the attack.

He used kitchen knives to stab or slash 21 people at Franklin Regional High School in Murrysville.

Hribal was 16 years old at the time.

Now, he's asking for a new trial.

His lawyer says Hribal's first attorney failed to present all the issues at sentencing.
