Large Fire Reported At Garfield Home

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Firefighters rushed to the Garfield section of Pittsburgh Monday for reports of a large fire.

The blaze was reported around 3 p.m. in the 5500-block of Kincaid Street.

There were no reported injuries.

An 80-year-old woman reportedly left food in the microwave and it caught flame.

"It was on fire, she went to make a phone call to see if she could get a neighbor, she walked down the street and by that time the fire had already started raging," said Duane Ashley, the victim's son.
