LaMarr Patterson Named To All-ACC Second Team

PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) - It was announced today that Pitt senior forward Lamar Patterson has been named to the All-ACC Second Team by the Atlantic Coast Sports Media Association as well as the All-ACC Second Team as voted on by the league coaches.

Patterson earns the honors after leading the Panthers in scoring (17.6 ppg) and assists (411) and ranks among ACC leaders in scoring (4th), assists (4th), field goal percentage (8th) and 3-point field goal percentage (4th).

Patterson has also been honored this year as an Oscar Robertson and Naismith National Player of the Year Award watch lists.

The All-ACC First Team is made up of Duke's Jabari Parker, North Carolina State's T.J. Warren, North Carolina's Marcus Paige, Syracuse's C.J. Fair and Clemson's K.J. McDaniels.

Patterson wasn't the only Panther to receive an All-ACC accolade as senior forward Talib Zanna was named to the Honorable Mention Team in both the Atlantic Coast Sports Media Association poll as well as the league coaches poll.

Zanna is averaging 12.5 points per game while ranking second in the ACC in rebounding (8.3).
