Police took the boy back to their police station. They say he was not injured.

Children, Youth and Families has taken the child into their custody.

KDKA spoke to neighbors about what happened. They say they're shocked and concerned because there's a lot of traffic in the area. They didn't want to be on camera, but tell us Knoxville is generally a friendly and safe area, and that a lot of families use a park that's nearby.

Pittsburgh Police say the investigation is ongoing, and if you have any information, you are asked to reach out to them.
