Kitten Found In Robinson Township Tests Positive For Rabies

ROBINSON TOWNSHIP (KDKA) -- The Allegheny County Health Department is warning people in Robinson Township to be cautious of stray animals after a stray kitten tested positive for rabies over the weekend.

The kitten was found Sunday in a building parking lot of the Penn Center West Office Complex on Campbells Run Road. The kitten is one of five rabid animals to be reported in Allegheny County this year. In January and February, two rabid bats were found in Mt. Lebanon and Bethel Park and a rabid raccoon was found in Verona. Thursday, a rabid raccoon was found in Millvale.
