Kenny Pickett replaces Mitch Trubisky at quarterback to start second half

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - The fans are getting what they've been chanting for at Acrisure Stadium.

Kenny Pickett is in at quarterback for the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Mitch Trubisky was taken out after going 7/13 for 84 yards and an interception in the first half.

The Steelers trail the Jets 10-6 to start the half.

Following an interception and long return by Minkah Fitzpatrick, Kenny Pickett led his squad into the end zone, scoring the first touchdown of his NFL career on a quarterback sneak.

With the touchdown, Pittsburgh would take the lead over the Jets, 13-10.

Pickett would again use his legs to give the Steelers another touchdown, helping Pittsburgh score 20 unanswered points.
