Police Investigating After Two Shot In Rankin

RANKIN (KDKA) -- Police are investigating after two people were shot in Rankin on Sunday afternoon.

Officers were called to the 400-block of Kenmawr Avenue for a report of a shooting just before 2 p.m.

When first responders arrived on the scene, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

The Allegheny County Police Department says the wounds were not life-threatening.

Officials say a second man also arrived at a local hospital by private means with non-life-threatening wounds. They believe he is connected to this incident.

Police say there have not yet been any arrests.
