KDKA's Pomp Has Star Run-In At Market Square Coffee Shop

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – KDKA's Bob Pompeani is usually one to get recognized on the street in Pittsburgh, but Thursday he was the one asking for a photo.

While getting coffee at Nicholas Coffee and Tea in Market Square, he ran into Maroon 5 lead singer and "The Voice" coach Adam Levine.

"We were just talking about coffee, sports, I told him what I did for a living and he was interested in talking sports – very down to Earth," Pompeani said.

Pompeani says he had actually met Levine another time just a few weeks earlier at a birthday party at Nemacolin Resort.

Maroon 5 is actually in town for a concert. They play at CONSOL Energy Center at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
