KDKA's Harold Hayes Awarded For 35 Years Of Reporting

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Wednesday was just another day for KDKA-TV reporter Harold Hayes.

That was until he arrived at the Allegheny County courthouse.

That's where the District Attorney was waiting.

Stephen A. Zappala was there to Greet Harold and present him with a certificate honoring his 35 years as a reporter.

Harold started at the station in 1979 as a general assignment reporter.

He's a McKeesport native and graduate of South Hills High School and the University of Pittsburgh.
