Woman Charged With Paralyzing Man Outside Of Downtown McDonald's To Stand Trial

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - The woman charged in connection to a fight outside of a downtown McDonalds that left a man paralyzed will stand trial.

Kaniya Martin waived a preliminary hearing on Wednesday.

According to the police, she played a role in attacking Marc Conn and his fiancee at the McDonald's on Wood Street.

Conn ultimately was paralyzed after he was knocked onto the ground, hitting his head on the pavement.
