Jay Paterno Shares The Life And Legacy Of His Father

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - Jay Paterno joined host Robert Mangino to explore his new book "Paterno Legacy: Enduring Lessons from the Life and Death of My Father," which documents his father's life, career, and legacy.

Paterno also discussed his father's experience during the Sandusky scandal.

Paterno explained that Joe, "felt bad that he wasn't aware," of Sandusky's actions.

Jay said, [the Paternos] just didn't know, that Sandusky had a secret life, and to believe they did paints them as "evil."

Jay Paterno wanted listeners to know that his father was all about, "performance on the field and in the classroom."
