Pirates' Jameson Taillon Hopes To Pitch In Games Next April

PITTSBURGH (KDKA 93-7 The Fan) - Pirates prospect Jameson Taillon joined Bob Pompeani Saturday to discuss his recovery from Tommy John surgery.

"I'm not really sure exactly what kind of timeline I'm looking at, but I wouldn't expect it to be too long after camp breaks," Taillon said.

Taillon said that he was initially upset when he heard the news of needing surgery, but came to grips with it pretty quickly.

"It had been bothering me a little bit on and off in spring training, so I think more than anything, honestly, I was just glad to find out exactly what was going on and I was ready to knock it out and start working towards the rehab process and come back stronger," Taillon said.
