James Harrison Cleared In NFL PED Investigation

PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) - He has been telling us this all along, so it probably should come as no surprise, but it's official now.

The NFL has cleared James Harrison, along with Green Bay's Clay Matthews and Julius Peppers, in their performance enhancing drug investigation.

Harrison met with the league on Aug. 25 and the two sides had been silent ever since.

The allegations came after an Al-Jazeera report claiming that the three, along with Peyton Manning and free-agent Mike Neal, had received PED's.

Harrison was so sure of his innocence prior to the meeting that he even suggested airing it live.

"Whatever evidence they think they may have or reason for questioning me is out of my control...I wouldn't have a problem with it being filmed live."
