PETERS TOWNSHIP (KDKA) -- Injuries were reported following a head-on crash Friday night in Washington County.

According to emergency dispatchers, the accident happened just before 10 p.m. in the 300-block of West McMurray Road in Peters Township.

There's no word yet on the number or severity of injuries, or what caused the crash.

Crews shut down the road as they investigated and cleared the scene.
