Indiana County Man Arrested For Sexual Assault
CENTER TOWNSHIP (KDKA)- Police have arrested a Blairsville man accused of sexually assaulting a woman.
State police say James Winch III had sex with a 37-year-old woman at a home on Rhine Road in Center Township, Indiana County.
The victim says the sex was not consensual. She also says Winch threatened to kill her. The attack happened between 4 p.m. Friday and 6:30 a.m. Sunday.
Winch was later arrested.
He was charged with aggravated indecent assault, sexual assault, aggravated assault and terroristic threats.
He is being held at the Indiana County jail pending his arraignment.
