Imperial Man Killed After "Medical Emergency" Causes Crash

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – An Imperial man was killed after crashing head-on into another car in McDonald early Saturday morning.

The crash happened just before 4:30 a.m. along State Route 980.

The Washington County coroner says 30-year-old William Fazzolare was killed after his car crossed the center line and hit an oncoming car head-on.

According to the coroner's report, it appears Fazzolare may have "had a medical emergency causing the crash." It's unclear what that medical emergency may have been.

There's also no word on the condition of the other driver.

An autopsy is scheduled today.
