Truck Crash Temporarily Shut Down Portion Of I-79 North, All Lanes Reopened

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - Interstate 79 northbound was closed to traffic due to a truck crash early on Thursday morning.

The crash that affected traffic for hours between exit 48 and exit 54 has been cleared.

That section of the interstate has reopened.

There were also restrictions in the southbound direction throughout the morning, which have since been lifted.
