Humane Society Seeks Public's Help To Find Injured Dog's Owner

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – The Western Pennsylvania Humane Society says it needs help finding the owners of a severely injured dog.

A 4-year-old Siberian husky was found on Race Street in Homewood with a deep gash across its neck.

It was taken to the shelter and then transported to an emergency clinic.

Veterinarians say the dog is making a good recovery, but they're not exactly sure what happened to it.

The dog was underweight and possibly neglected.

Anyone with information is urged to call the Western Pennsylvania Humane Society at (412)-321-4625 ext. 216
