How Popular Are Steelers Jerseys? Online Map Has Rankings By State
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Dicks Sporting Goods unveiled its "United States of Football" – an interactive map showing top jersey sales by state.
According to the map, Steelers jerseys are the top jerseys in Pennsylvania and West Virginia – not surprisingly. Although, Arkansas surprisingly also buys Steeler jerseys over any other team.
Across the country, Steelers jerseys rank as fifth most popular – the Cleveland Browns are No. 1, Baltimore Ravens are No. 6 and the Eagles are No. 9.
They also say Troy Palamalu ranks as No. 2 most popular defensive jersey and Ryan Shazier is No. 6 most popular rookie jersey.
