One person dead after late night house fire in Tarentum
One person has died after a house fire late Saturday night in Tarentum.
The fire happened along Corbet Street around 11 p.m., and several fire crews and police units were dispatched as part of the effort. Eventually, around 3 a.m., crews were able to extinguish the fire.
An Allegheny County Department of Emergency Services spokesperson later confirmed to KDKA-TV that one person was declared deceased, but the victim's identity has not been made available.
The cause is under investigation.
