Woman Dies Following House Fire In Lower Burrell

LOWER BURRELL (KDKA) - A woman is dead after flames ripped through a home in Westmoreland County late on Wednesday night.

Firefighters were called to a scene on Trailer Boulevard in Lower Burrell shortly after 11:00 p.m.

Fifty-year-old Kimberly George was taken to the hospital where she ultimately died.

A neighbor saw the fire and called for help.

State police are investigating the cause of the fire.
