Hot, Muggy Day Gives Way To Chance Of Rainy Night
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- A beautiful but warm Monday is giving way to what could be a rainy night across the region.
KDKA Chief Meteorologist Jeff Verszyla says tonight will be warm and muggy with a chance for scattered rain overnight.

He says some of the showers could bring heavy downpours, lightning and high winds.
"First thing [Tuesday] morning, the numbers will come down to about 67, 68 degrees. I do think between now and then there's going to be the opportunity to see some scattered showers," Verszyla said. "Not everyone may catch a shower tonight, but those of you that do still could get an isolated but brief heavier downpour of rain."
Tonight's low will be 67.

The good news is the rainy weather will usher in some less humid conditions over the next couple of days.
"Throughout the day [Tuesday], clouds will break for sunshine, and the numbers will come in right around 80, 81 for the highs [Tuesday] afternoon with lower levels of humidity as dew points come back down in the 50s," said Verszyla.
On Wednesday, we're looking at seasonal temperatures of about 80 with mostly sunny skies.
