Homicide Detectives Investigating Body Found In Allegheny River

PITTSBURGH (AP) - City homicide detectives were on the scene after River Rescue crews pulled a body out of the Allegheny River in Pittsburgh.

The body was spotted before 8 a.m. Tuesday between the Andy Warhol and Roberto Clemente Bridges.

Police didn't immediately say whether the body was that of a male or female.

Investigators were attempting to determine how the person died and how long the body was in the river.
