High School Students Praised For Good Deed

CONNELLSVILLE (KDKA) - New Year's is a time to reflect on one year and look forward to the next.

That's why the principal at Geibel Catholic High School is praising three of his students for a good deed in 2013.

Sela Fetsko, Grace Goodwin and Piper Scarry were walking out of the building one day when something caught their eye.

It was a money bag containing hundreds of dollars.

The bag belonged to the Geibel Cafeteria and had been dropped inadvertently by a worker.

The girls immediately took the bag to the school office.

They say they would want someone to do the same thing for them if they had lost something valuable.

School principal Don Favero is praising the girls for their decision.

And the girls aren't just getting praise- they also got some bonus points in algebra and a free lunch in the cafeteria.
