Woman Allegedly Found With 2,000 Bricks Of Heroin Headed To Trial

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – A woman, who police say was found with 2,000 bricks of heroin in her car during a traffic stop, is headed to trial.

It was originally reported by the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review that 28-year-old Candice Alexander of Penn Hills was found with the heroin in a secret compartment of her car when she was pulled over by state troopers on the Turnpike in Westmoreland County.

The newspaper reported the amount of heroin was equivalent to $1 million – or 100,000 stamp bags.
