HEMPFIELD TOWNSHIP (KDKA) -- One person was taken to a hospital after a violent crash in Westmoreland County overnight.
It happened on Route 30 in Hempfield Township, near the Westmoreland Mall.
A car struck the side of a support for an overpass there around 2:30 a.m.
State police are investigating the cause of the crash.
