Heavy Smell Of Smoke Sends Firefighters To Ross Twp. Shopping Plaza

ROSS TOWNSHIP (KDKA) -- Emergency crews were called to a shopping plaza in Ross Township this morning because of concerns over a smell of smoke.

It happened just before 10 a.m. at the plaza in 1100-block of Perry Highway.

Officials say the smell originated in the Shop 'N Save and then spread throughout the plaza.

After checking through the buildings, firefighters found wires touching to some wood. They say that caused the smell.

No injuries were reported.
