Heat Advisory Issued In Southwestern Pa.
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- The National Weather Service issued a heat advisory warning Sunday for parts of southwestern Pennsylvania, eastern Ohio and northern West Virginia.
The heat advisory is in effect from noon until 8 p.m.

Temperatures are expected to reach the lower to mid 90s in some areas, and heat index values between 100 and 104 are in the forecast for the day.

The NWS urges people to stay indoors in air-conditioned areas, keep out of the sun and drink plenty of fluids.
The NWS also wants to remind people to check on elderly relatives or neighbors. Do not leave children or pets unattended in a car in hot weather.
