Officials had to remove the roof of one of the vehicles to rescue an 89-year-old woman. Police say they believe she may have had a heart attack, but their initial investigation shows that she struck two vehicles which then hit a fourth.

The 89-year-old was taken to a local hospital in critical condition.

A second woman, who is pregnant, was also hospitalized. Police say she is in stable condition.
