Greensburg Businesses Raising Money For Mother Injured In Car Crash
GREENSBURG (KDKA) -- Donation buckets are becoming a common sight inside Westmoreland County stores and businesses as part of a community drive to raise money for a car crash victim.
Cait Tracy was seriously injured in an accident Sunday night. Kirstin Kerrigan, 22, and Marc Delissio, 33, were killed in the same crash.
Since then, the Downtown Greensburg Project has been leading a fundraising drive with donation buckets now in 65 businesses and counting.
"We're a small city, but we're really mighty, and when somebody needs help, we're gonna come together as a community. So that's just what happened. Everyone just kept sharing it and calling and wanting a bucket or emailing, and it just spread really fast," Jessica Hickey, with the Downtown Greensburg Project, said.

Tracy, Kerrigan and Delissio all worked at Rialto in Greensburg. A karaoke night was held there Thursday night, and all tips from the night were donated to Tracy and her two sons.
The owners of Salon Deva across the street plan to make a personal donation to go with customer contributions.
"When there's a tragedy like this, it's great when everybody, the whole community comes together to help," Sarah Spino said.
"It's a sad thing that we can bring some kind of happiness to somebody maybe, that we can do something good out of this. It's just a terrible thing," Barry Ciccarelli said.
Defenders Armory is also seeking donations. Owner Tony Anthony says the family is going to need help with medical costs.
"As we all know, medical expense can wrack up pretty fast, so any little bit helps," he said.
