It's about time the super-intelligent ape villain got to show his stuff. Gorilla Grodd is here -- and he looks terrifying.

The CW promoted Tuesday's new episode Grodd Lives on their YouTube channel.

Fans of the comic books love Grodd and his interesting backstory. Speculation is hot about how the latest version of Grodd will manifest in the show.

He certainly looks big and bad enough from the few glimpses in the trailer.
