GM Recalling 50,000 SUVs Over Gas Gauge Issue

General Motors has issued another recall.

The automaker is recalling 50,000 SUVs because the fuel gauges may give false readings.

GM says it's a software issue.

The problem could lead to a faulty reading by as much as a quarter of a tank of gas.

That means, drivers could run out of fuel without warning, increasing the risk of a crash.

The recall involves 2014 Buick Enclaves, Chevy Traverse models and GMC Acadia's.

The company says they'll reprogram the software for free.
