FREEDOM (KDKA) -- PennDOT has ordered a potentially dangerous stretch of roadway fixed following a Get Marty report.

"I hate it. I hate it. We need to resolve the issue. We need to fix the roadway. We need to avoid people getting flat tires," says Dan Cessna with PennDOT.

Ron Derbis is a safety officer with an Ambridge trucking company. His drivers lost 30 tires along a stretch of Route 65 under construction in the Freedom-Ambridge area.

"The tires were being ripped to shreds," says Derbis.
