Get Marty: Leaders Taking Action After Discovery Of Cop Killer's Websites

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- The Pennsylvania Republic State House leader promises to do the best he can to pass new legislation prohibiting prison inmates from having "Pen Pal" web sites.

Poplawski was sentenced to death row for the murder of three Pittsburgh Police officers.

A Get Marty investigation determined Poplawski has two sites. We took that information to Speaker Mike Turzai who wants them shut down.

"It's disgusting Marty. We have to stop this," says Turzai.

The new legislation will prohibit state prison inmates from advertising on Pen Pal sites.

If all goes as planned the legislation could be on the Governor Tom Wolfe's desk by November.
