Gas Leak Forces Evacuation Of George Washington Intermediate In New Castle

NEW CASTLE, Pa. (KDKA) - The George Washington Intermediate School was evacuated due to a gas leak.

The school, on East Euclid Avenue in New Castle, was forced to evacuate its students because of a gas leak that happened around noon on Wednesday.

KDKA has been told the gas was turned off and all the students were let back inside.

A firefighter says they found a pipe leaking gas inside the school.

No one was injured.
