George Lopez To Host 'The World Dog Awards'

We love dogs at The CW, and we cannot wait until the debut of The World Dog Awards on January 15th! Hosted by George Lopez, The World Dog Awards will celebrate all breeds for their roles in the military, healthcare, and internet fame. Man's best friend will also be recognized for their roles in film, TV, commercials, and animation.

Some of the specific awards include Most Pawpular, America's Top Mutt, and Happiest Reunion–which is awarded for the most inspiring moment when a soldier and his or her dog were reunited.

Some dog loving celebrities will also make appearances. Rumor has it Ian Somerhalder, Beth Behrs, and Lance Bass will be among the celebs.

The World Dog Awards will premiere on The CW on January 15th at 8:00 pm ET.
