Gas Workers Threatened, Shots Fired

PULASKI TOWNSHIP (KDKA)- Two gas company workers were threatened while on the job in Lawrence County.

The Pulaski Township Police Chief says that the disgruntled homeowner was upset about a possible gas well going in across from his home.

He lives in the 5000-block of Old Pulaski Road in Pulaski Township.

The homeowner reportedly told the two survey workers he had a gun and wasn't afraid to use it. He then went into his backyard and fired five gunshots. Police say the man had a target board in his backyard, so it's most likely the shots were not fired at the survey workers.

So far no charges have been filed.

There are no gas wells in that area yet, but there were pink flags up marking off areas in a farm field.
