Police Investigate Shooting In Garfield

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Pittsburgh Police responded to a ShotSpotter alert for shots fired in Garfield.

Officials say it happened just after 1:30 p.m. on Saturday at the intersection of Penn Avenue and North Fairmount Street.

According to our news partners at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, the victim was in a car when another car pulled up and someone fired out of a window.

Officers found the victim with wounds to the neck and shoulder.

He was taken to the hospital and is in stable condition.

Toriano Cameron, 47, is charged in the shooting, the PG reports. Officials are looking for him.

The investigation continues.
