Fund Set Up To Help Local College Student Who Was Struck By Lightning

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- A young man from Pittsburgh who was struck by lightning last week on his college campus in Ohio is reportedly making progress in his recovery.

Sean Ferguson, 23, is enrolled at the University of Dayton.

That's where he was struck last Wednesday.

Police say he was found lying in the parking lot of the school's rec center.

According to a GoFundMe page set up by his friends, Ferguson had two surgeries Monday and is making significant progress in his recovery from serious burns and a broken jaw.
