Ft. Pitt Tunnel Work Delayed Again Due To Expected Snow

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Driving through the snow should be a little easier this weekend with an open Fort Pitt Tunnel.

PennDOT announced Friday that it will not close the tunnel.

It's delaying work on the ceiling due to the inclement weather that's expected.

Work was rescheduled for this weekend after it was postponed the previous week because of snowy weather.
