Freedom Area School District Cancels Football Practice After Potential Coronavirus Exposure

FREEDOM (KDKA) -- The Freedom Area School District announced that a student on the football team has experienced a potential exposure to COVID-19.

In a letter posted to the district's website, Superintendent Jeffrey Fuller wrote that they have no reason to believe the student-athlete has contracted the virus.

Out of an abundance of caution, the district is taking steps to curtail football practices for this week.
