Former Nanny For Penguins' Kunitz Headed To Trial

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- The former nanny for Penguins forward Chris Kunitz was in court Monday for a preliminary hearing.

Police say Andrea Forsythe stole a pair of $12,000 diamond earrings from the Kunitz home and then sold them.

She waived her right to a preliminary hearing, sending the case to trial.

She had no comment leaving the courtroom.

Forsythe also faces federal arson charges for a fire at her Collier Township home in January.
