Two Lanes Of Forbes Ave. To Reopen Following Water Main Break

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Two lanes of Forbes Avenue will reopen Saturday after being closed for more than a month due to a water main break.

One lane in each direction of Forbes Avenue will reopen at 2 p.m. Saturday. The other two lanes will remain closed for at least one more week since the pavement has not yet been poured in those sections of the road.

Forbes Avenue has been shut down since Feb. 27 due to a large water main break in Oakland. Pittsburgh Water and Sewer crews have been working on repairs for more than a month.
