Flood Watch Issued With More Rain On The Way

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Rain is expected to fall throughout the day and has prompted a Flood Watch.

According to KDKA-TV Meteorologist Dennis Bowman, a Flood Watch has been posted for the entire viewing area.

Light morning showers are expected to transition to heavy rain in the afternoon and evening.

There may be a few thunderstorms in the afternoon as well.

Bowman expects an inch or two of rain through the evening hours before diminishing to light rain around midnight.

Temperatures will slowly fall through the 60s this afternoon to a low of 47 degrees overnight, as cooler weather takes hold.

Friday shapes up as a dry day with some sunshine and a high near 60 degrees.
