Flock Of Turkeys Stops Traffic, Triggers Motorcycle Crash

MOUNT LEBANON  (AP) - Police say a flock of turkeys crossing the road stopped traffic and triggered a crash that injured a motorcyclist near Pittsburgh.

Police say a car stopped suddenly Monday in Mount Lebanon to let a half-dozen wild turkeys cross a road, causing a 19-year-old man on a motorcycle behind the car to lose control and fall off his bike.

Police say the man hit the back of the car but remained conscious.

He was hospitalized with injuries to his legs and upper body.
