Flash Flood Warning Issued For Parts Of Allegheny County

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Some strong afternoon rain has led to a flood warning for the Pittsburgh region.

The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood warning for southwestern Allegheny County until 10 p.m.

Officials report flooding along Washington Boulevard in Scott Township.

The NWS says although the heavy rain has stopped, runoff could continue to flow through the evening.

Some other areas that could experience flooding are Mt. Lebanon, Bethel Park, Upper St. Clair, Scott Township, South Park, Robinson Township, Dormont, Castle Shannon, Carnegie, Crafton, Bridgeville, Green Tree, Imperial, Sturgeon-Noblestown, Oakdale, Heidelberg, Thornburg, Rosslyn Farms and South Fayette Township.
