First Lady, Peace Corps Team Up For Let Girls Learn Initiative

First Lady Michelle Obama has some advice for young girls.

"There is no boy at this age that is cute enough or interesting enough to stop you from getting your education. Look, if I had worried about who liked me and who thought I was cute when I was your age, I won't be married to the president of the United States," she said.

The first lady is promoting the 62 million girls campaign, which is focused on helping girls around the world get an education.

It's part of the "Let Girls Learn" initiative with Peace Corps volunteers who will serve as catalysts for community-led change.

For the 1,000 girls who gathered at the Apollo Theater in Harlem, the event was life-changing.
