First Eaglet Hatches In Hays Bald Eagle Nest

HAYS (KDKA) – There's an eaglet in the Hays bald eagle nest!

The Audubon Society of Western Pennsylvania confirmed that the first "pip" in one of the eggs was visible on the Hays bald eagle cam around 9:50 a.m. Sunday.

Today, the eaglet officially hatched at 12:37 a.m.

There are no pips visible on the other two eggs in the nest yet.

There are also two eggs currently in the Harmar bald eagles' nest. Keep an eye on the live stream here.
